Exact audio standard

Specific enough to make your own informed choice.

HalalAudio does not claim universal scholarly approval. Every published track must meet the production standard below, and an administrator attests to it before publication.

Sources we allow

A track may be built from natural male vocals, natural humming, real-world ambience, nature recordings and genuine foley or sound effects.

  • Natural, unprocessed male vocal phrases
  • Natural humming that does not imitate an instrument
  • Wind, rain, water, wildlife and room ambience
  • Product handling, movement, transitions and real-world foley

Sources we exclude

The exclusions apply throughout the recording—not only to the most audible layer.

  • Musical instruments of any kind
  • Daf, drums and all other percussion
  • Beatboxing and clapping
  • Vocal or electronic processing designed to imitate instruments
  • Hidden instrumental beds, loops or stems

How publication works

Uploaded MP3s remain drafts while their format and derivative files are processed. An administrator completes metadata, listens to the master and explicitly attests to this standard before the track can become public.

  • Automated checks validate the MP3—not its religious suitability
  • Human review remains required
  • A track can be archived immediately if a concern is confirmed

What we do not promise

We do not promise that every scholar, school or individual will reach the same conclusion. We do not describe technology as a substitute for personal religious guidance. We promise to describe the production standard accurately and apply it consistently.
